Whale Watching

December - March

Humpback whales travel south to the warm Hawaiian waters in the winter months to give birth to their young and mate. Come with us on our one-of-a-kind vessel to view these majestic creatures. In Hawaii, everything revolves around the humpback’s reproduction season.  We’ll listen to the haunting songs of the whales and watch mothers and their newborns frolic in the warm Hawaiian water.

Tour length around 3 hrs.             Tour price: $150 per person

Humpback whale breaching

The adult whales start arriving in mid-December and usually stay until mid-March.While on our whale watches, we will look for all the species of whale that call Hawaii home, not just the Humpbacks. We have several varieties of toothed whales that call the Hawaiian waters home year-round.

The iconic breath or “blow” can be seen from over a mile away, while their splashes from breaching can be seen from several miles away. While we don’t use anything other than our eyes to find the whales, once we find one we can usually get to the 100 yard/ meter viewing distance.
